Turn, turn, slow turn. Twist bones
broke but drag drag behind, pull
tug flesh ripped. Shuffle, groan desire
only for blood brains.
Undead, unliving, unknown.

To survive a zombie apocalypse don’t be
a hero. Do not fight marauders without
necessity. Attrition; gnawing for bare
minimal (lest you be gnawed upon!). To
survive ravenous army equip your
 your wits and an axe.

Moan as much as they moan- both sides are hungry.

Because one day there will be a zombie apocolypse! Will want to come back to this one and tidy it up!

Omglob I saw the title and had to investigate. I'm not one to crit poetry but I do know I love this one. I think the last line really anchors this poem. :eager: Love it.

Haha, I actually might change the title to "how to survive a zombie apocolypse" if dA allows such a lengthy title.

I wasn't too sure about the last line so thank you- I thought it felt a bit rushed at the end?

Hahaha, Yeah, I have to get creative with some of my titles, especially the ones that are in a series.

Oh gosh, I wish I knew. The thing about poetry with me, is I look at it and I know I like it, but I don't know what's technically "proper" outside of basic rhyme schemes. I liked it, but I also am not a pro at this. ^^; Sorry I can't be of more help.
