Well I'm always one for jumping on a bandwagon, especially when it's a good one. So I delved into my favourites archive to pick a piece of writing that is unknown, a bit different and needing some love. This is a short poem by ~Torby-ADK called 'starfish Love'.

Oh my god $Moonbeam13 is right. Collections are addictive. Instead of working at work, I just spent the first hour of my day playing about with my favourites and making collections! Seriously you guys should have a go because suddenly you’re thinking about what you’re faving. If you’re like me and usually stick to faving one or two forms of art, using the browse feature suddenly also comes to play. I just filled an album of cute animals!

Today Joseph and I have been together for four years. It is our anniversary and he is making me a nice lamb roast tonight to celebrate. He must be mad to have put up with me for so long. We’ve known each other over 5 years now and he is just amazing he really is. He must have the patience of a saint because I really am a weirdo! He even listens to me when I talk about this place! Bless. I need to get him something still, but I don’t know what.

I was watching the Grammy’s on and off last night- has anyone else realised that Amy Winehouse looks a little like Janice in ‘Friends’? Amy’s voice is more annoying too…

Have you had a look at the latest workshop at *Writers-Workshop? This time it is being hosted by *apocathary and it’s a really interesting challenge on Magic realism. I urge you to have a go- but the deadline is tomorrow so get those writing fingers on the go!

Train journey Friday. I think it’s time we revisited the Lemon phantasm.

Harmless

Harmless is a user-led UK-based organisation that is working towards providing support, information, training and awareness to those affected by self harm. These include not only people who are self harming, but friends, families, teachers and professionals who may seek support and information. I have been working with them this year to raise their profile, not only in the UK, but on an international front also. They are very close to my heart and so far deviantArt have taken a huge stride in awareness, by helping Harmless with creative people submitting positive writing, and in the future we may come back here for artwork and further awareness updates.

Making Sense of Self Harm
