UK Devmeet in January

I have decided, not because =lady-shirakawa has forced me to, but because `Rushy said that it hadn’t been done before, that the January Midlands Devmeet will be held on the 31st January in DERBY.

Therefore if you are seriously interested in coming, please let me know and I will add you to this list. Notes of confirmation have already been sent out, but we'll accept latecomers of course! Please let me know ASAP and I will note you.

The real problem is Duck Noir and Pulp Otter don't get along at all and thier feud is spilling out into all the other ridiculous animal communities along the waterfront.

Litigation Tiger and Divorce Cormrant have been trying to run everything through the courts as fast as possible to get the thing resolved but Litigation Tiger keeps eating the jurors and Divorce Cormrant isn't all that well schooled in this sort of law.

Bah humbug. Don't wanna change trains

And I went to Birmingham city centre for the first time the other weekend, and it is AMAZING. Hmph. Derby takes three times as long to get to and costs three times as much too

Put me down as interested, I'm too lazy to be a definite but I shall try to make it! Just so long as you don't mind me ranting right now

Harmless

Harmless is a user-led UK-based organisation that is working towards providing support, information, training and awareness to those affected by self harm. These include not only people who are self harming, but friends, families, teachers and professionals who may seek support and information. I have been working with them this year to raise their profile, not only in the UK, but on an international front also. They are very close to my heart and so far deviantArt have taken a huge stride in awareness, by helping Harmless with creative people submitting positive writing, and in the future we may come back here for artwork and further awareness updates.

Making Sense of Self Harm

On a personal note, I want to sincerely thank everyone who has participated in the support of this organisation. Everyone who has responded, even by faving a news article, spreading the word or even just opening yourself up to a little more understanding, I am truly grateful.
