Hello all!

:new: Lots of space for articles if people would like to contribute! :new:

Whilst the prose enthusiasts embark on the quest of NaNoWrimo, we thought we'd take an opportunity to keep you poetry lovers in the literature loop in November.

From November 18th- 24th, we are hosting another week at projecteducate. This time the theme is "Poetry Basics". As previous educate weeks, we would like to invite members of the community to come write informative/ educational articles to contribute to this week.

We are looking for articles on:

- The construction of poetry (ie. meter, verse etc)
- Imagery
- Interviews with popular poets on dA (or off)
- Looking at classic popular poems or poets (analysis, discussion etc)

Please note: we are NOT looking for articles on poetry forms- we did a Poetry Forms week back in March!

Some ideas:

:bulletpink: Enjambment
:bulletpink:  Assonance
:bulletpink: Effective use of imagery
:bulletpink:  Iambs & Metre
:bulletpink: Contemporary poetry
:bulletpink: Using feelings
:bulletpink: Audience
:bulletpink: Publishing Poetry

If you are interested in writing an article, please drop a note entitled "PE Week" to CRLiterature with an outline of what you intend to write. We are planning this in advance; giving you the chance for you to draft an article- which we insist on reviewing prior to the PE week!* We will also arrange a day for you to submit your article and provide all information on how to submit on behalf of projecteducate

*Seriously, drafting and revising in advance makes the articles so much better- our strongest articles were the ones where people had taken the time to exercise this and we are committed to supporting you in crlit!

What we have so far...

These are the wonderful people who have offered their time for an article so far. If the subject you wanted to write about is already covered- why not contact the person below and offer to collaborate?

We really look forward to what you guys come up with!

:star: GROUPS! If you think your group could help us get the best out of this week- please share this journal with your members! We know there are some awesome poetry groups out there and your help would be super appreciated in this community effort!
