Not that many people have picked up on this yet! Come on guys, lets get involved

(Original Gif too trippy for words!)
I hope everyone had a lovely break and are fully in the swing of the New Year!
Now this journal isn't a personal one, despite the title- in fact it is a journal I am challenging all of you to write and all of you to help others write. At this time of year, we've made resolutions and I expect half of you have included "write more" as one of those resolutions. This experiment is to help you fulfil that resolution so by 2014 you are sat here feeling achieved.
The Experiment
Prompts. Prompts are awesome. Why are they so awesome- because they get you writing! There are times when you feel unmotivated, wanting to write but not sure what to write about. You could be writing your epic novel but hit a wall and need a break or some inspiration. You may even have that mystery disease known as "writers block" and seeking a cure or have had a complete loss of confidence in yourself as a writer and want to pick yourself back up.
This year, there is already some amazing prompt ideas going around. If you are following the #
Glory-Be-Project, you may have already seen some of these. There is also a fantastic music prompt challenge going around and many more too. In fact, there are so many prompts, you may feel overwhelmed!
So here is the challenge. I want you to create your own prompt journal and start collecting prompts. There is no rush to do them all at once and if you start collecting a significant amount, on those days where you lack inspiration that journal is sat there for you. You can keep updating this- adding new prompts and even linking completed deviations relating to the prompt. You can steal prompts off other peoples journals, or suggest some to fellow deviants. We just all want to get writing!
The instructions! (READ CAREFULLY!)
1. Create a personal journal entitled "My Prompt Journal". You can format this however you desire, but in principal you want to make a list of prompts/links/groups/images you have collected. You may even have a section for contests- this is your journal to manage.
2. Add a link to your prompt journal in the comments of this journal.
3. Visit other deviants journals linked here and offer a prompt for them. It can be whatever you like!
4. Spread the word of this experiment! Add it to your groups journal (supporting groups listed below)
Here is mine for an example:
(I want prompts too!)
The Groups
This is a list of awesome groups that you should check out! They have supported this experiment by featuring it in their group and spreading the word and also include several prompt specific groups!
Questions!
Because we encourage interaction, we want you to also answer the following when you link your prompt journal in the comments of this experiment:
1. What are your 2013 writing goals?
2. What kind of prompts do you like?
3. What do you do when you have "writers block" or not in the mood for writing?
Go forth and write!

Here is a unrelated but nice Game of Thrones GIF:
1. What are your 2013 writing goals?
To become more disciplined and structured with my writing (ie writing something more often than once every three months). And to broaden my writing horizons.
2. What kind of prompts do you like?
I generally lean towards horror and suspense but, as I stated in question 1, I'm looking to broaden my genre repertoire so would like the occasional 'out-of-my-comfort-zone' category.
3. What do you do when you have "writers block" or not in the mood for writing?
Honestly, I've been in a bit of a writing funk for the last couple of years. Prompts do tend to help but I usually have to look through A LOT of prompts before something catches my fancy.
I generally just think of a category that piques my interest (usually horror
My Journal. Drop by and give me a prompt, as soon as its filled I'll link you to the story if interested.
1. What are your 2013 writing goals?
To start writing every day (even though it's now almost March, better late than never), participate in Nanowrimo, and MAYBE either get enough short stories together to publish a collection or finally do a novel.
2. What kind of prompts do you like?
I don't really know. I'll take anything and if I can use it, if it sparks something, I will.
3. What do you do when you have "writers block" or not in the mood for writing?
Well, this is what I'm doing now. Trying to use prompts to get the gears going and get back into writing shape. For the past few years, I've been horrible out of it and a big wall built up. So, prompts for flash fiction or longer pieces will help.
1. What are your 2013 writing goals?
write more often, write longer pieces and actually finish them, post more on dA
2. What kind of prompts do you like?
hmm, tough one. I haven't really used prompts much before so it's hard to say. I generally don't write happy or comedic things?
3. What do you do when you have "writers block" or not in the mood for writing?
I'm probably not the best person to ask since I had a writer's block that lasted a number of years... But usually I read another person's work, be it a published novel or something I found online, and hope that it motivates me. I also created a tumblr about a year ago that I post inspiration to, which has helped quite a bit.
1. What are your 2013 writing goals? Write more. Write better. Maybe even get a routine.
2. What kind of prompts do you like? I don't really know. I haven't written a lot of stuff using prompts. I think I'm leaning towards stricter ones as opposed to the one-word prompts, though.
3. What do you do when you have "writers block" or not in the mood for writing? Too often, I just don't write. Otherwise... I might flip through some of my writers block books (have you seen the one that's an actual block?), try editing/rewriting something I haven't looked at in a while, or go hunting for prompts I like online (which will now be a lot more simple!).
1. What are your 2013 writing goals?
-Posting one of my stories on Deviantart
-Making more time for writing (of course)
-Increasing vocabulary in my work
-Learning and improving my sentence structure
-Learning to critique others works
Prompts I Like
-Visual Prompts
-Since I like to write prose: Prompts that start out with "What would our character do if..."
What do you do when you have writer's block and are not int he mood for writing
-I do homework. I found out about myself that if I tell myself to do something I'm automatically going to put it off and come up dry. So I tell myself to do something else, and bam! I feel inspired again
1. What are your 2013 writing goals?
To write, edit, and self-publish my novel which is due in May, and then work on another.
I'm hoping to read more than write this year.
2. What kind of prompts do you like?
Prompts that I can add to my novel, like suggestions, dialogues, scenes.
3. What do you do when you have "writers block" or not in the mood for writing?
Listen to Pandora for hours.
1. What are your 2013 writing goals?
-My first goal was to get one piece of writing out a day, but since I found that a bit unrealistic, I lessened it to writing for at least a half an hour each day.
- I joined a lit magazine and hope to get published. If not this year, then when I find a new magazine (for I'll be too old after this birthday) to get published there.
- Improve as a writer as much as I can.
- Study other writing by reading more.
2. What kind of prompts do you like?
I like prompts that make you think, get your gears in your head ticking instead of staring blankly at your computer monitor wondering what to do with it. I like inspirational prompts too that people can relate to and pour their hearts out to.
3. What do you do when you have "writers block" or not in the mood for writing?
I distance myself from writing and preoccupy myself with something else to try to get my brain time to relax. I find nothing good comes from forcing yourself to write (I once made myself very sick doing that). If I have a long writers block, however, I will try to find something to inspire me and get me back in the groove of things.
